Things

It’s been a long time since I’m written something here. Too long perhaps.

First, I’ve moved into a new house. 40 Cottonwood Rd Newington, CT 06111. It’s a nicer house than last time. ITs actually part of a condo complex so we don’t have to worry about landscaping or snow removal or anything. Take a look at my facebook photos. There’s a whole album of pictures of the house.

interruption: going to a job interview thing.

Sorry for the interruption, it warrants its own entry. I’ll do that after this one.

But first, I bought a motorcycle. 1981 Honda CX500C It’s in decent shape and runs really well. Pictures are on facebook. I’ve got it insured, registered, helmet and all. I got it from a guy on craigslist. The speedometer cable broke, but I’ve got a replacement coming. Repairing bikes is much easier than a car. I can handle just about all of it. I have a repair manual too, so I’m not going in blind while fixing things.

Lastly, I went to my first country music concert a few weeks ago. Sean brought me along to experience the extravaganza that is a country concert. The first thing to note is that among the group of people that we went with, they were all driving trucks. Keep in mind that most of the people are from the Haddam area. Much more rural than Vernon. The next thing was the drinking game we played. Stump. Go read al about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stump_(game)

I’m crazy good at Stump for some reason. Maybe its all that playing and flipping of pens I did in class. The game also made me drink more than I could really keep track of. I don’t think it was the drinking that did me in though. I hit a point in my drunkenness that smoking a cigar, or anything from that matter, does me in. This happened at the concert when we were inside. I had a cigar and it was all down hill from there. I ended up yaking before Brooks & Dunn went on and spent their entire set lying on the ground trying to not ralf more.

It wasn’t terrible though, I recovered by the end of the night. All in all it was a very fun time. I may be going to more concerts this summer. I’ll let the world know if anything riveting happens at those.
