how long do these speeches have to be?
for persuasive it’s a good idea to stay away from the big topics like abortion, gay marriage, etc. you should do something like space exploration, speed limits for driving, reverse engineering, filesharing.
for informative i’m not sure if you’re professor with allow like “how to guides” cause i think that’s a different type of speech. if it’s allowed you can do something easy like how to make pancakes or rice krispie treats. the informative speech is probably the easiest. you could do like vegatable oil powered cars, computer viruses, etc.

Topic 1 for the informative speech: FIRST. Yeah, I don’t really have to do much work for it.
Topic 2 for the persuasive one: filesharing is helping the music industry more than hurting it.
